National Philanthropy
As sisters of Mu Sigma Upsilon, each and every one of us agrees to uphold our goals of Academic Excellence, Unity Amongst Women, and Community Service. Over the past thirty years, we have dedicated countless hours of service and generous donations to various charities and research programs. Our mission has always been to help as many organizations as possible, but we also realize the need to focus our efforts in order to make a stronger impact on the community at large.
Every five years, the organization selects a national philanthropy as beneficiary. Through this process, we are able to dedicate ourselves as a national organization to aiding a single charity organization for five years at a time, and continue to assist many more organizations in the future. Previous philanthropies include:

From 2020 to 2025, Mu Sigma Upsilon proudly partnered with the NAACP as its National Philanthropy, supporting initiatives that advance civil rights, social justice, and equity within our communities nationwide In 2026, MSU will engage in its scheduled review and selection process to identify a new National Philanthropy. This transition reflects our commitment to growth, responsiveness, and continued alignment with our values of unity, multiculturalism, and service.
